"Let the Spirit move freely in Me" ... Rev-Henry Bates

Today and always, I recognize that I am in the Spirit and the Spirit is in me. There can be no separation from this One Life as I live, move, and have my being in It. As I identify with this truth I realize that the Spirit is seeking to express Itself through me, as me and for me, and I let It move freely through my heart, my mind and my soul. I know that in the Spirit my every need is met and "I shall not want" for any good thing. I know and I accept that in this moment, the images of good in my mind are a reflection of the desires of the Spirit for me to be experienced by me, through me. There is not a moment in my existence that the Spirit is not with me, sustaining me and maintaining my consciousness with Love, Happiness, Joy, Peace, Wisdom and Harmony ... these are the gifts of the Spirit and they are always available to me. No condition, no circumstance, no problem or failure can eliminate the Spirit from being ever-Present in my life. It is a joy to realize this, to recognize it as the truth for me and for every one. Spirit moves freely in me and there are no conditions, no limits, to Its ability to perfect that which concerns me, now and always ... for I am in the Spirit and the Spirit is in me.

And so it is. Amen.

Center of My Joy

Daily Prayer

From Dr. Joseph Murphy:
"I know that no matter what negative beliefs I held yesterday, my prayer or affirmation of truth will rise triumphantly over it today.
Today is God's day; it is a glorious day for me. I am full of peace, harmony, and joy. My faith is in the goodness of God, in the guidance of God, and in the love of God. I am absolutely convinced that my deeper mind receives the impress of my present thoughts now, and I am irresistably attracting into my experience all the good things my heart desires. I now place all my reliance, faith, and trust in the power and wisdom of God within me; I am at peace.
I hear the invitation of the God-Presence within me saying, "come unto me, all ye that labor ... and I will give you rest" ... I rest in God; all is well.

Life Imagined!

As I establish the awareness in my consciousness that All Is Mind and All Is God, I know that my mind ... aligned with Infinite Intelligence, can imagine that which I have yet to experience. I understand Einstein's statement, "imagination is more important than knowledge" ... as I know that knowledge can take me only so far in my quest to vision a life that is far beyond that which I have previously experienced. I believe that my imagination is Infinite Mind bringing to my awareness new ideas and new images for me to make unlimited choices as to what I choose to experience, to have, or to be. I imagine and accept for myself a greater success than I have previously experienced. I imagine and accept for myself greater wealth than I have previously experienced. I imagine and accept for myself greater loving companionship than I have previously experienced. And most of all, I imagine and accept for myself a greater confidence in my continuing Health than I have previously experienced. Life is Good ... and the Life that I have experienced has been good and very good ... and I am grateful for each and every experience that I have entered into ... for I have received the Good from each experience. In this moment ... I begin to expand my thoughts and ideas ... and my vision for a Life that is filled with enthusiasm and great joy. I love this experience called Life ... and I experience it with purpose, achievement and accomplishments. I know that the Power that moves through my imagination ... is God, Infinite Spirit ... and I embrace Spirit in my imagination knowing that as I include Spirit in all that I do ... I receive the Life I imagine! And so it is.

April 2, 2008 & Faith

This treatment was written by Douglas Albert, a 2nd Year Science of Mind student here in Palm Springs:

I have only faith in myself and in GOD. I know that I live by the Universal law of LOVE and that LOVE fills my being completely. I am LOVE, I am LOVED and I LOVE others and the world I live in. My mind is filled with LOVE. I know that I am LOVED by GOD and GOD is the source for everything in my life. My mind which is the ONE Mind being used by me can hold only one idea at a time and I choose LOVE over all else. God supplies my every want & need GOD is my source for all things. I am provided for by GOD and I accept all the good intended to be mine. I choose to have an Abundant, Successful, Opulent, Healthy, Prosperous, Happy LOVE filled LIFE NOW! I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE EXTRODINARY LIFE I HAVE BEEN GIVEN and I am Grateful for the ability to understand and learn how to accept the truth about my life and to accept all that GOD has given me. March 1, 2008 & Asking and Receiving

As I affirm that God Is All, and I am One with this Infinite Presence, I expect and receive a response to my every prayer. As I go deep within and choose that which I desire to have, to be, or to do, I know that in the stillness of my mind, Spirit is receptive to and accepts my Good with me. I know and believe that Spirit supports me in my Good and so there is never a doubt in my mind about the results of my prayer. I am open to my Good and I am receptive to an even greater Good still than what I have asked for. I believe and accept that Infinite Intelligence knows precisely what my highest and greatest Good is in all things ... and I loose any attachment to the form in which my Good manifests. I feel a genuine gladness in my heart as I trust in the infinite good-ness of the Divine. I am secure in my relationship with God ... now, and always. And so it is.

February 29, 2008 & Leap of Faith

Let's use this "Leap Year Day" to take a "leap of faith" in our consciousness and set our sights high and go for the Good that we desire. Know and believe with me that God, Infinite Spirit, responds to our faith ... and I am knowing that great faith is within me and you and in this moment I accept and realize that our faith, working through the Law of Attraction ... brings forth the tremendous joy, love, happiness and success that we desire to experience now. It is with great pleasure that I accept in my consciousness that each and every one of us has within us ... within our mind ... all the faith necessary to totally transform our lives to reflect the Good that is available for us. Our leap of faith today transcends all things that may attempt to hinder us ... for we know that we are using the All-Power of the Infinite to bring forth, to demonstrate, to actualize ... the Good that is ours now. And so it is!

January 30, 2008 & Right and Perfect Time

I rejoice and give thanks for the understanding and awareness that all things happen in the right and perfect time. Knowing that God Is All In All, I know and accept that whatever I am experiencing is leading me to that greater experience that I desire as mine. As I realize that all things work for my Good, I know that God is always right on time. There is nothing in me that denies my Good, and nothing in me that hinders my Good. My Good is assured for I know that God, Infinite Spirit, always responds to me. My mind is in perfect agreement with the All-Knowing Mind, which is God, as my Good unfolds with grace and ease. I live in the Good that I desire to experience now. There is nothing that separates me from this Good, for I know that in the Spirit, it is already complete. As I rejoice in this Truth, I feel a sense of peace and fulfillment in knowing that my prayer has been answered ... and always in the right and perfect time. And so it is.

January 18, 2008 & Helpful Treatments

The following are a few prayer-treatments written by Dr. Ernest Holmes, author of "The Science of Mind," that may be helpful as a guide to our own personal treatments.

A TREATMENT FOR PROSPERITY
Today I accept God's gift of abundance. Today everything I am and have is increased. I identify everything I do with success. I think affirmatively and in all my prayers I accept abundance. Whatever I need - whenever I need it, wherever I need it, for as long as I need it - will always be at hand. ... I no longer see negation or delay or stagnation in my undertakings. Rather, I claim that the action of the living Spirit prospers everything I do, increases every good I possess, and brings success to me and everyone I meet. ... Everything I think about and do is animated by the Divine Presence, sustained by the infinite Power, and multiplied by the Divine Goodness. And so it is.

A TREATMENT FOR SELF-CONFIDENCE
Believing that there is an infinite Power in the universe, a Power for Good greater than I am, I now accept its action in my life. I know here is strength and a vitality, a livingness, flowing through me out into everything I think, or say, or do. ... I am peaceful, calm, and confident because I am the very embodiment of this Power, its energy and action. There is no sense of weakness or lack of strength. Rather, the fullness and the perfection of this Power is always present, always active. I completely and confidently recognize and accept the flow of this Power through me, manifesting itself in right ways in every aspect of my life. And so it is.

A TREATMENT FOR BUSINESS
In my business activities, I know I am in partnership with the Infinite. I identify myself with this partnership, knowing it always leads to success. I accept that the action of Infinite Intelligence is back of everything. It is always manifesting itself and it now does so through the thought pattern of success I am establishing for myself. ... Conditions and situations around me now start to correspond to my new ideas about them. The invisible Power indwelling and surrounding me, which is forever making manifest my thought, now creates for me the business success with which I have identified my thought. And so it is.

A TREATMENT FOR HANDLING DEPRESSION
Through praise and thanksgiving I recognize the Divine Presence in everything and everyone. I recognize the beautiful and perfect in everything. I praise and bless the spiritual Reality back of all things. I rejoice in the thought that I am dealing with the Presence and the Power which cannot be denied. I praise the abundance of good in all things and give thanks that this good is flowing into my experience in ever-increasing volume. I accept this good. I bless it, causing it to multiply in my life. ... I deliberately turn from everything that depresses and sing a song of praise, of gratitude and joy. I sing a song of the triumph of Spirit over all apparent negation. In the midst of darkness I sing a song of he dawn, for I know that the eternal Light dissipates all darkness. And so it is.

A TREATMENT OF LOVE
I permit Love to reach out from me to everyone I meet. I believe that Love is returned to me from every person I meet. I shall trust the guidance of this Love because I believe it is a Power of Good in the universe. I feel that Love is flowing through me to heal everything I encounter, to help everyone I contact. Love opens the way before me and makes it perfect and straight and immediate. Love forgives everything unlike itself and converts everything that seems commonplace into something wonderful, changing weakness into strength and fear into faith. Love is the all-conquering power of the Spirit. And so it is.

January 17, 2008 & In the Quiet of My Soul

In the quiet of my soul I feel the Presence of God within me. I feel Its Power and Its Intelligence presses against me unifying my mind with Its Peace, and Joy, and Happiness, and Love. I am immersed in the Presence of Spirit. It fills my mind with Its Love and Power. In the quiet of my soul, my awareness is heightened and I realize that there is only God, only Love. In the quiet of my soul, Love gives me a higher ideal to contemplate, to dwell on in my mind. My heart senses this higher ideal and my love for Life is increased. I am immediately aware of my place in the Universe and know that I am here to express more of God, of Good. I know that Spirit moves through me as power, as confidence, and as self-assurance, and so I form the words in my mind that express a greater awareness of the abundant life that is available to me. I know that all that I receive, I have accepted through my consciousness, and this All is mine to share, to give, and to come back to me multiplied abundantly. Prosperity, success, health, and loving relationships have been gifted to me by this Loving Presence, Almighty Spirit ... and I accept them now ... in the quiet of my soul. And so it is.

I consciously recognize that there is only One Life, this Life Is God, and this Life is my life now. In this realization, I am aware that my thoughts are God's thoughts for me. And as I open my mind to an expanded view of the world in which I live, I am always confronted with unlimited opportunities to express the unique expression of Life that I am. I know that God's only will for me is that I choose to live to my highest and greatest ideals. My ideal is a life filled with happiness, love and purpose ... and as I keep faith with this ideal, I know that I can accept success and prosperity for I am accepting the Abundant Life that God has prepared for me. I expect my life to be a reflection of God's abundance and love, and I am excited to recieve all the abundant Good that I can imagine for myself. I know that it is "the Father's good pleasure to give to me ... and I know that God is pleased with my acceptance of my Good. God is so very, very wonderful to me ... and this is the truth for me now and always. And so it is.

January 15, 2008 & One-ness

As I was leaving the grocery store tonight in Palm Springs I noticed a man outside asking for money. I was not sure what he was collecting money for, but my inner-guidance nudged me to make a donation. As I put the money in the metal box, without even looking as to what was written on the box, he said to me, "thank you, Jesus loves you" ... and then he said, "I know he does." There was a ring of sincerity to his words that was so genuine. I felt very happy for him that he could be so certain, and in Truth, he was right, for although I am not a Christian, I know that Jesus loves me, and so does the Buddha, Krishna and Mohammed ... for they all understand that we are One. And in the One, we are all of Love, and loved. Let's affirm this today:

My heart is filled with gladness as I realize that there is only God, only Love, permeating the Universe. And as I recognize this highest of Truth, I know and I know that I know, that all things are harmonized in Love. No matter what may appear in the world, I know that Love will bring all things to Good ... for All Is God and God Is All. I am never concerned nor do I dwell in worry, for the Truth that God's Perfect Love reigns Supreme, is the Truth yesterday, today, and tomorrow. This change-less Truth, awaits our recognition of It, and as we do, It's influence in our world of affairs, both personal and universal, is powerful. In the quiet, confidence of my mind, I know that God blesses each of us to the degree that we accept being blessed, and today, I accept these blessings for myself and all others. For as I do, I affirm my One-ness with All of Life, with God, and with All Living things. And I am blessed to know this is so. And so it is.

November 30, 2007 & Better and Better ......

"Only when we put our very best into our spiritual work will it satisfy us. A spiritual power is released through true thinking that is as much a law as is chemical affinity. There is no deliverance of the real self without mental conviction. To have faith in God is to follow this faith through by having faith in the self. The real self is God and as such is to be implicitly trusted. The spark which burns at the center of our own soul is caught from the living and eternal flame of the Spirit." - Dr. Ernest Holmes, "The Science of Mind"

Life is open to me. Life is God. And there is no separation from this Life ... for in It I live and move and have my being. And in this awareness, I know, and I know that I know; and I believe, and I know I believe ... that every area of my life gets better and better every day in every way. I am living in the infinite Good that God has prepared for me ... through my consciousness of Omnipresent Good. I feel all the joy ... all the love ... and all the hope .... that my unfailing faith provides for me. I embrace the Good that is mine in my mind ... and all my thoughts are focused on what is mine ... now. I live in perfect health, happiness, joy ... and peace ... for these things are of God ... and God freely expresses them through me and into my world of affairs. My soul is alive with enthusiasm and divine bliss knowing that my Good always manifests with grace and ease ... for I believe it ... and so I see it ... in the right and perfect time. And so it is.

November 16, 2007 & Prayer-Treatment

Dr. Ernest Holmes developed "spiritual mind treatment" from the healing work of the Master Mind Jesus. Dr. Holmes focused on the process in which the mind of man/woman, embodies the One Mind, which is God, and "spiritual mind treatment" or "prayer-treatment" is the result. I would like to share my "evolutionary" methodology for treatment with you ....

Prayer-Treatment involves conscious mental awareness of these five concepts:

• Recognition:
  We state our recognition that God is All and All Is God; One Power, One Presence, One Intelligence .. back of all creation, now and always.
  

• Unification:
  We are consciously aware that God Indwells us; that we are "in God" and "of God."
  

• Acceptance:
  We speak our word either orally or silently for the Good that we desire, knowing that there is no opposition to our acceptance of our Good; good relationships, financial prosperity, health, happiness, joy, peace, employment, etc.
  

• Gratitude:
  We go deep within our mind and feel a sense of gratitude and thankfull-ness that the Good we have accepted for ourselves, is ours now.
  

• Faithfulness:
  Let go and let God; remain faithful to the Great Un-Seen unfoldment of our Good.

August 1, 2007 & Enthusiasm

Thomas Troward, known as a pioneer in metaphysics, wrote that we all have the Spirit within us ... but it is up to us to "stir It up" ... and this is something we must address in our consciousness every day. In the Science of Mind, we know that we "stir It up" with spiritual mind treatment ... we "treat" our mind consciously with the thoughts and ideas that we want to experience ... and so we do:

Knowing that there is only One Mind and that Mind is my mind now, I open my mind to that which captures my enthusiasm and excitement. I am thrilled to be alive today and my mind is open to new and exciting experiences. I have a great enthusiasm for life knowing that doors of opportunity are opening for me now. I step into a greater expression of life by aligning my mind with Creative Mind and accepting the ideas and images that create within me a greater idea of success, happiness and love. I love what I do and do what I love and even if this is not absolutely true today, in the physical, I know that I am working today, in my mind, to actualize this as the truth for me now and always. Nothing blocks my consciousness from embodying the Good that God, Infinite Spirit, seeks to impart to me. I know that, that which I am seeking is seeking me ... and so I open the door of my consciousness to let my Good enter in ... and I feel a great surge of enthusiasm flow through my heart, my soul, and my mind ... lifting me up into a feeling of great enthusiasm for this day. I know that I am One with Spirit and in this One-ness, I can transcend all things that appear to deny my Good ... knowing that the Power Is Spirit ... and that Spirit works for me by working through me ... I am faithful that Spirit finds perfect expression through me now. And so it is.

July 30, 2007 & Promises

Today I enjoyed the experience of being reminded that "time is on my side" ... as I had the intention to write this message and treatment earlier but ran into a computer technical problem ... but, here I am and so I can keep my promise to myself to write a treatment for this blog every day ... and here it is:

Knowing that all my thoughts are responded to and affirmed by the One Mind, I keep my promises that I have made to myself and others. I shall always know that I have time for everything that I have the intention to accomplish. I shall always assure my spirit that I am never rushed, hurried, or stressed ... I shall always be at ease with life and with time and this I promise myself. I shall never be in a rush to see my demonstrations before their right and perfect time. And I shall promise myself to always be clear in my mind as to what I desire for myself and others so that confusion is never present in my consciousness ... I shall always take the time to "know" what I want ... and then "choose" accordingly and treat "specifically" for that which I have promised myself. And today, I am grateful to know that I can promise myself to live the life that I choose ... a life filled with happiness, sweetness, joy, love and financial ease ... and I know, with great gratitude, that the One Love that is God, provides me with all that is necessary to let this be so. And so it is.

July 21, 2007 & Contemplation

Most everyone practices contemplation, although some people may not be aware that they are contemplating. To contemplate is to "still the mind" and to focus on a particular subject or issue ... and it is not always a positive subject or issue, sometimes it is negative. Contemplation simply means that we examine our thoughts ... and oftentimes our contemplation will make us aware of something new about the subject or issue that we hadn't thought about before. I opened one of my Science of Mind textbooks today and found this contemplation written by Dr. Ernest Holmes. It is titled, "I Was Told To Live" ...

By some inner mystic Presence,
I was told to live and to love, to laugh and to be glad.
I was told to be still and know of the One Almighty Power, in
................ and through all.
I was told to let that Power work through and in me.
I believed that voice and I received my Good.
