As I recognize G-d, Infinite Spirit, I recognize that G-d is doing Its perfect through me. I realize that there is only One Life, that Life Is G-d … and that Life is my Life now and always. In this understanding that G-d lives-in-me, I know and I declare the Truth that my every Good desire is G-d’s desire for me … and as I mentally contemplate and see the Good results in my Life, I realize that my Life is abundant with love, happiness, peace and every Good thing that is necessary for my continued fulfillment of my purpose on this Earth and beyond. My life is a marvelous expression of G-d’s ever-lasting Love and I freely accept and share all the Good that comes to me. I am more than thankful … more than appreciative … I live a blessed Life that is forever grateful at all times to G-d … to those in my Life experience and for All things. I recognize that Gratitude connects me with G-d at all times and I surrender my heart, mind and soul to the Infinite ... letting this be so, now.
Keep the faith!

Pursuant to today's inspiring message, the phrase that spoke loudest for me was "We cannot fight the Universe. It refuses to be budged from Its course. We can only go with It."
Perhaps it's our insistence that things be other than this truth, that cause all our confusion and suffering.
I recently heard Byron Katie tell us to stop arguing with life. Isn't she telling us the same thing?
William James famously said "What we resist, persists." This is not just an opinion, it's a maxim or spiritual truth.
Isn't this another way of telling is to let Go,let God and keep the faith?
Hi Malcolm,
The statements, "We cannot fight the Universe. It refuses to be budged from Its course, We can only go with it." ... is telling us that we have to align ourselves with the Nature of the Universe which is always expanding. And it is also telling us what Byron Katie, William James and what the Master Mind Jesus taught, that if we resist or argue with the Universe, we end up frustrated and stuck. So, we know in the Science of Mind, we do our prayers and affirmations and let them go knowing that we can trust G-d to do Its perfect work for us. Trust and faith are the keys; "when that which is perfect comes, that which is imperfect comes to an end" .. and so it is for all things.
Thank you, Rev. Bates. These blogs & weekly messages are life-savers.
Rev. Dr. Bates, you so express God, are you married?

Rose,
In all honesty, I would have to say I am married to my ministry. It is my life's work and my life's love.

We were all born for this, live for this, and die for this. And it couldn't get any better than that.
w lots of love from PaPa,
