From The Science of Mind, page 509:
There is no weariness.
Mind and Spirit do not become tired nor weary, and I am Mind and Spirit.
The flesh cannot become weary, since it has no mind of its own.
I am free from all illusions of weariness.
My whole being responds to the thought of Life.
I am alive with the Great Vitality of the Spirit.
....... I am alive with Spirit.
Keep the faith!

I am in my first year of SOM and have recently begun visiting your blog entries several times weekly. I appreciate them and usually resonate with your message and the manner in which you write it.
This message about 'no weariness' left me struggling. I can embrace the idea that mentally and spiritually, by aligning with the Divine, and reminding myself of my Truth, there is no weariness... spiritually and mentally.
However, I don't follow the logic that flesh, because it has no mind of its own, cannot experience weariness. Are you speaking of fatigue? A body cannot experience fatigue? Because it has no mind of its own? I don't know that a body needs the mind to tell it that it's been overworked, or that it got no sleep, or that it has chronic fatigue or some other similar affliction. I believe if a person mistreats his/her body, that body can experience repurcussions of that treatment.
So what am I missing? Did I misinterpret you, take you too literally? I do acknowledge that aligning oneself by using treatments and reminding oneself of one's Source, a person can sometimes make major shifts in his/her mental state, and that mind affects body. But it's not a direct, 100% correlation - a body can be influenced significantly by physiological elements, I'm sure you agree.
So I'll hope to hear some insight from you in this regard, probably as a comment? Or you can just email me a response at LesDiamond@aol.com.
Thank you. Blessings.
